New rules to access Sardinia valid until 30 April 2021

The President of Sardinia Region has issued the ordinances n. 5, n. 8 and 9 that till 6 aprile 2021 regulate the access to Sardinia.
Ordinances have been extended to 30 April with respective Ordinances no. 12 and no. 13 of 6/04/2021.

Art. 1 of Ordinance 9 of 17/3/2021, the entry into Sardinia for going to their homes other than the main one (so-called second homes) by “non-resident” people is allowed only in the presence of proven work needs or situations of necessity and / or documented or for health reasons and, in any case, according to the requirements of the Regional Ordinance no. 5/2021.

All those who have the above requirements and intend to embark on airlines or sea lines bound for Sardinia are required to register before boarding, by the online form or through Sardegna Sicura App.

The App, is available for IOS and Android system and it’s possible to download it from the store.

A copy of the registration must be presented together with the boarding pass and an identity document.

In addition to registration, it will be necessay ONE of the following conditions, provided by the Ordinances:

  • Has been vaccinated
  • Negative swab test carried out within 48 hours before departure
  • Swab on arrival: either at dedicated areas in ports and airports (free of charge), or within 48 hours of arrival (in one of the accredited laboratories, at your own expense).
  • Undergo the obligation of fiduciary isolation for 10 days
